The photo sits at the center of the label, bordered like an instant photograph, with your message handwritten-style underneath "I love you Mom," "Love you my love," or anything else you'd rather say. Below that, the scent and size are printed cleanly, so the whole label reads as a finished, considered piece rather than a sticker. The candle itself is made from natural soy wax in the USA, poured into an amber glass jar with a black metal lid, and available in your choice of fifteen scents.

In most cases, yes. Each candle is personalized and made to order in our U.S. workshop in 3–5 business days, then shipped, so a typical order arrives within about business days.

What kind of photo works best?

A clear, well-lit photo with the subjects' faces visible works best both black-and-white and color photos look good in the polaroid frame. Close-up or medium-distance shots translate more clearly at candle-label size than very wide or busy group photos.

Can I write any message I want, or do I have to choose from a list?

You write your own message, there's no fixed list. Short, heartfelt phrases like "I love you Mom" work well given the size of the text area; a sentence or two is the right length.

Can I return or exchange a personalized photo candle? (H3)

Because each candle is made with your photo and message, it can't be returned for a change of mind. But if it arrives damaged, or we made a mistake on our end, we'll make it right. Contact us within a week of delivery with a photo of the problem and we'll send a replacement or issue a refund.
