Yes,  a strike strip runs along the side of the box, so everything you need is in one piece.

What is the box made of?

The box is real wood with a slide-open drawer, and the artwork is printed as a full-color design on the box face, so the detail in the illustrations like the tarot linework, the Cupid, the retro type.

What can I put on the matchbox?

Depending on the design: both first names (e.g. "Madison & John"), initials ("A + J"), and a year or full date.
