Can I use this sign outside for my garden or front door?

It’s recommended to use mostly indoors or at least under a roof like a porch. Since it is real wood, if it stays under heavy rain or direct hot sun for too long, the wood might get damaged or the shape might change over time. It is perfect for a welcome sign at a wedding but better to keep it inside your home later to protect it.

Is the text painted or sticker?

No, it is neither. We use laser engraving technique. We carve the wood deeply. So the writing is permanent, it is carved into the wood. It won’t peel off or fade away like stickers do. It has a nice texture when you touch it.

Which wood color shows the writing best?

Since we are engraving (burning) the wood, the text usually looks dark brown or blackish. Choose a very dark wood like “Black” or “Java”, the text will look more subtle, like a shadow effect. If you want the names to be read very easily from far away, “Cherry” or “Mahogany” gives better contrast.
