When you upload a picture, you can pick a hat if you like - or you don't have to, it's totally up to you. Then, Giftshire makes a face cutout that's around 18×18 inches, printed on a strong 3mm PVC sheet. It's sturdy enough to keep its shape, but light enough to wave around all night.

You can make your joke or message more specific with the hats. There are 25 different hats to choose from, and they range from funny to happy. You can also choose not to put a hat on the face if you want.

The quality of the photo is really important here. When you're going to blow it up to 18 inches, any problems with the picture will be super obvious. If the image is blurry, far away, or just a screenshot, it's going to look pretty bad when it's that big.

What kind of photo should I submit?

When taking a photo for the best results, get up close and personal. A clear face shot with good lighting is what you're aiming for, and it works best when taken from about 18 inches away. You can even use a phone photo, just make sure it's in focus and taken from a close distance. What you want to avoid is using screenshots or photos with a bunch of people in them - we're looking for a solo shot here. Also, try not to cover your face, even partially, and don't take the photo from too far away, as that can make it hard to get a sharp image.

How do I submit my photo and hat choice?

When you're checking out, don't forget to upload your photo on the product page - there's a special field for it. Also, make sure to include your hat code, which is between H1 and H25, or just let us know if you don't have a hat by typing "no hat" in the order notes.

Do you edit or retouch the photo before printing?

So, the face on your cutout will look exactly like the one you send us. That means the quality of the photo you provide is really important. To get the best result, please send us the clearest picture you have.

Will hats or hairstyles in the original photo affect the size?

So, the cutout is made to fit the shape of the face, including the hair and any hats or accessories that are in the original picture. This means that if someone has a big hairstyle or is wearing a hat, it might make the cutout a bit bigger or smaller than expected.
